How to raise a Ticket:
Login to Taiga: Start by logging into your Taiga account.
Navigate to the Project: Once logged in, select the project where you want to raise a ticket.
Create a New Issue: Look for the option to “+ New Issue” and click on it.
Fill in Details: Provide relevant information such as the issue title, description, priority, and assignee (if applicable). Be as detailed as possible to ensure clear communication.
Assign Tags and Labels: Categorize the ticket by assigning tags or labels that help classify the issue (e.g.: - bug, feature request, enhancement, version 1.0, …)
Set Due Dates: If there's a deadline for resolving the issue, set a due date to help prioritize work.
Submit the Ticket: Once all necessary details are filled in, submit the ticket to create it in the system.
After raising a ticket, it goes through various statuses to indicate its progress:
Ticket statuses
New: New status indicates the ticket has been created and is awaiting review or assignment.
Ready: Ready status indicates that a task or issue is prepared and waiting to be worked on.
Re-Open: Re-Open status indicates that a previously closed task or issue has been reopened for further work or review.
Needs Info: Needs Info status indicates that additional information or clarification is required before progress can continue on a task or issue.
In Progress: The ticket is actively being worked on by the assigned team member.
Ready for Test: Ready for Test status indicates that a task or feature is completed and ready to be tested for quality assurance or validation.
